We complete our offer of lightweight and medium weight panelling systems with the introduction of selling and borrowing of composite EPIC ECO systems. The EPIC ECO panelling systems are the systems of the future because composite materials have already supplanted the application of metal in motoring, aviation, and other industries. Therefore, the same is expected to happen in the field of building construction panelling systems. They are much alike the LEGO cubes; they are composite, simple, and have good mechanical qualities because they can hold up to 100 Kn/m2 of panelling. They are made of mixture of polypropylene and special fibres, which enables constructions to hold high pressures.

Composite ceiling system EPIC ECO and EPIC ECO SKY SPEED® represents a novelty and revolution in ceiling panelling, for it considerably lower the cost of wood by using this system – there is no cost of panelling plates for ceiling panelling.

The speed of panelling with the composite systems EPIC ECO is very fast, and abundant palette of elements allows the best possible panelling composition; no redundant area of system is installed, because the area of panelling almost completely matches the area covered in concrete.

2 . LIGHTWEIGHT AND PURPOSE

The EPIC ECO panelling systems are particularly suitable for panelling of foundations, shafts of all kinds, or supporting walls up to 1,4 metres high. They are also suitable for handwork because of their low weight that is 18 – 22 kg/m2 together with the connective material. The EPIC ECO panelling system consists of 7 elements and 23 connective elements, which are suitable for all heights of builders due to their simpleness. The speed of panelling and low weight are only two of many advantages. The biggest element has 20,5 kg; the lightest competitive products are much heavier. The composition of 9,80 m width and 2,80 m height can be moved round by a console lift with the carrying capacity of 400 kg.

The EPIC ECO is mostly used for quick panelling of foundations, shafts and low supporting walls. In the further building phase ate the same building site EPIC offers the EPIC FARESIN systems that are medium weight and heavy panelling systems. EPIC offers simple foundations panelling at competitive price. The builders' biggest problem is either it is a great expense for them to use other panelling systems, or panelling is complex and they need qualified carpenters when they are panelling in classic manner with shuttering panels. The EPIC ECO panelling systems can be used (with a special composite head) for panelling of plates and that is going to enable a complete panelling at the building site with less cost.

3. ADJUSTABILITY AND FLEXIBILITY OF THE ELEMENTS

A wide range of panelling systems enables optimum panelling composition; there are no superfluous square metres of the system because the panelling surface is very close or the same as the surface wetted with the concrete. The base heights are 70 cm, 140 cm, 280 cm, 350 cm and 420 cm. All the intermediate dimensions are possible because the elements are compatible vertically and horizontally. That is the optimum offer for panelling of foundations, shafts, and low supporting walls.

4. PRACTICAL TRANSPORTATION

The EPIC ECO panelling systems are easy to transport because they are low weight, so for the average smaller or medium size building we need a smaller truck for the 100 m2 of the system with all the belonging elements has 2,2 tones. Elements are packed on the up-to-size palettes for the base dimension of the elements. That enables easier transportation from one building site to another. On a big truck with a trailer over 800 m2 of the system can be put, and that makes transportations costs lower.

5. ECOLOGY – THE RECYCLING

The elements hold out up to 300 of panelling reproductions. After that the elements are bought back by EPIC by the market price for the material and milled at the producer where new elements are made. Ecological safety is assured like this.

6. QUALITY OF THE PANELLING

A perfect treatment of the elements and optimal joints assure very smooth wall surfaces. Before being used for the first time, the elements are oiled with panel oil, and can be used without oiling for 6 –7 times. This way, these elements denote saving at work and consumption of panel oil. Cleaning the panels is easy because the concrete does not hold the surface.

The panelling systems EPIC ECO were tried out by our users in the extremely cold conditions. The panelling was easily carried out at the temperatures of -23 °C, where no damage was done to the panelling systems. The panelling systems are distinguished especially by the low weight – the largest element has dimensions 140 x 70 x 10 cm and weights 20,5 kg. The quantity 100m² of the system with all the binding materials weights 2.2 tonnes, which lowers down the transport costs to a minimum; thus there are no costs for a crane and lifts, because the EPIC ECO systems can be installed manually.

7. COMPETITIVE PRICE

The material and innovatory process of production allow lower prime costs and therefore, the product is cheaper as well. The products are price competitive, and the price is going to go down as the serial production increases.

8. QUALITY OF BUILT IN MATERIALS

The used substance guarantees unlimited durability, it does not decompose nor oxidize.

9. BORROWING

Our company provides the complete engineering services, sales ad rental of panelling systems EPIC ECO and EPIC ECO SKY SPEED. For our clients who rent the panelling systems we also design a complete panelling plan and provide training on the construction site if the clients desire it. The users of EPIC ECO systems are satisfied with them – in 2004, more than 52 smaller and medium sized construction companies used these systems for different projects.

10. EPIC ECO PANELLING SYSTEMS REDUCE PANELLING COSTS

In EPIC they believe that with the introduction of the EPIC ECO composite panels they have made costs for the panelling lower, especially of foundations and shafts of all kinds. The EPIC ECO will be mostly used by communal companies, building contractors, or small and middle-sized building companies. Big building companies will use them for panelling foundations and low shafts. Composite formwork systems EPIC ECO are performing well on the construction sites because they are very useful and simple for making ceils with system EPIC ECO up to 20 cm and with ceiling system EPIC ECO MULTIFLEX LN 20, which a novelty in manufacture of ceilings with thickness of up to 40 cm. Up to now the system was adopted by communal services providers, smaller and middle sized construction companies.
